If in doubt use 25-1 untill you find the correct mixture.

It may be a bit smokey but allways better a little too much oil than not enough !

Col do you struggle to start yours? I gave up last year and waited for OH, and I'm not as weak as my avatar might imply :rotfl:

Would the mixture have made a difference? I think I may have been mean with the oil.......

I struggled to start mine, four years ago, I didn't use it that year, as I couldn't be bothered to take the time to start it, since then I seem to have managed without it.

ps, I'm not saying everyone should do without one, just that I managed to, just in case anyone thinks I am having a go at strimmers for some reason.

We have an "orchard" :o - about 15 fruit trees in an area of garden which is quite overgrown, uneven and has unknown stuff buried. There's far too much for me to do without working on sorting that out just yet. Not mentioning the area of nasty bamboo which needs hacking back before I can dig it out. If I can get the strimmer going, it'll make shorter work of those areas. (I hope)
