Transparent bag to put your liquid in?? Stupid question

Hiya, me again.

I am only taking hand luggage tomorrow therefore I'll have a few little bottles of liquid (mini shampoo, foundation ...). I know that I need to put them in a transparent bag but was wondering if a blue tainted freezer bag would do. Sorry I know it sounds stupid but I thought that I'll ask.

Thanks

If you are flying from Stansted there are loads of these bags all over the airport and they're free.

Flying from Liverpool so I am not sure they'll have any free one.

Ok might not bother with Asda then. I'll try to take it in my blue one and we'll see how it goes.

    Thanks

In Glasgow airport there's a machine that sells the bags...probably £1 each, another way for them to cash in, eh!

No such thing as a stupid question if you do not know

Just ask for one at Glasgow at the security desk.I did and got one as the one I had did not have a sealed end had just tied it. Farce this having to be in certain clear bags.

I wasn't allowed to use a clear Tesco freezer bag at Belfast Intenational Airport. They insisted I pay £1 at security for one of those orange ball thingies containing four ziplock bags - apparently, according to the over officious security staff, "it has to be a ziplock". What a load of rubbish. Another money making scheme to rip off travellers.

I'd only just calmed down when we got to Gatwick ... and then I saw the security guys giving ziplock bags out for free to anyone who wanted to something to put their sandwiches in the next day
