A&L Regular Saver & Current Acct
JEC
Went through most of the process of opening an A&L Current Acct in order to be able to open the 10% Regular Saver too. However, it was asking for details of any current account I already have. As I don't actually want to transfer current accounts, could somebody let me know what happens. If a fill in current acct details, will they automatically arrange a transfer or do they specifically ask if I wish to transfer?
Thanks.
Thanks.

There's no requirement to switch accounts over to them.JEC wrote:If a fill in current acct details, will they automatically arrange a transfer or do they specifically ask if I wish to transfer?
When you get your welcome back, there's a form to complete *if* you want to switch.
PS: I assume you are aware that you can be referred and make £50 for opening the account?0 -
I was not aware.... tell me more

I am an existing A&L Premier A/c customer. I've just upgraded to their Premier Direct current A/c without any hassle. I am not eligible for the 10% regular saver, but if my husband opens a current a/c with them by paying in £500/month by standing order/DD from anywhere else, he will be able to transfer £250 pounds of that to their reg saver a/c and send the other £250 anywhere else.
Sounds good

Thanks grumbler, I'd been wondering if we'd be eligible for that. Is there a closing date for this 10% regular saver with A&L?0

There is no anything to wonder about. Just print recommend a friend voucher (pdf**), fill it in and sent to A&L (I prefer using Recorded mail to make sure that the post is not lost).marrioa wrote:I'd been wondering if we'd be eligible for that.0 -
I've just saved the A&L referral form.
How do you lot know so much about everything? It's seriously impressive (and a bit scary)
Can you help me to put those "blue underlined" bits into posts and work out how to thank people properly?0 -

With Enhanced Interface you are able just to highlight, copy and paste links and pictures from other sites (and from this site) - this is really simple.
I don't know what 'properly' means, but the simplest way is just to clickand work out how to thank people properly?
button under the post you want to thank for. 0
