in my previous flat i was on payment by DD, but ive recently moved and we have a key meter for electric and a card for gas. i want to move to ebico because uswitch says i can save £160 a year.
whats the process of switching a supplier when your on these types of meters? how long does it take? what happens to credit you already have on the meter when you put the new key or card in?
thanks

You can apply either online through our website (www.ebico.co.uk) or call us on 0800 458 7689 and we can send you out a contract through the post.
All you need to do is fill in the form and we'll take care of the rest for you. We'll contact your current supplier and arrange for the transfer to go through. Near to completion we'll contact you with your start dates and account details and issue you with your new cards and/or keys.
We suggest using all the credit left on your meter before using the new card/key as sometimes using a new one can wipe the meter.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please let me know.
