how do i resize a photo...

have saved a photo from camera transfer onto picasa. what do i do now? what to add this to an ad am putting but it is printing large. thanks in advance.

  • windows powertool re-sizer does a good job for me. right click on image and select re-size

    Picasa can do all that for you, have a read of the help/manual.

    For printing you need to ensure you've got the right resolution, you don't give enough details.

    Else I'd recommend using the free and excellent Paint.Net
  • I woudl use picassa to resize as you already have it installed. Crop and prepare the image as you would like to see it. save it full size to keep your original and then then save it at a smaller size.

    You do this by selecting.....

    File
    Export picture to

    You will then see a greay box. In that box you will see the option to resize using a sliide bar.

    P.S. this is with picasa 3 not sure if it is different with previous versions
