british gas expensive?

ive just moved into a new house, received a gas bill of £78 for 23 days (1916 kwh). This sounds really expensive to me? We are on duel fuel, not economy 7.

would be good to see a list of suppliers and their price per kwh.

Use the comparison sites above in the Resource Bar.

They all include the suppliers unit prices, but also include the effects of hidden discounts suchas for dual fuel.

Note also to compare against the cost of single fuels: buying your gas and electricity from different suppliers is becoming increasingly cheaper in a number of cases.

Gas is very expensive compared to a few years ago . I would have my heating on for 3 hours a day when very cold and this would cost approx £45 pm for a 2 bed flat. I am on click 6- one of the cheapest tarrifs (or was once !)
