I bought a treadmill from an Ebay shop which was delivered severely damaged, after weeks of the seller promising to send replacement parts and them not arriving, I filed a Paypal dispute. Now I have the following questions:Can the seller say it was not returned in the same condition and hold up my claim? How long does it normally take to receive a refund from Paypal? Will I receive a full refund including postage costs? (according to the email from Paypal I will, however I have read comments on this forum that seem to disagree with that)Also, according to Royal Mail and other searches, the return address supplied does not exist?!I would appreciate your comments as I am very worried I will be left with no treadmill and no money. Thanks in advance.

You will need to pay return postage costs, you will get outbound postage back. It may depend on exactly how the original auction was marketed. For something as big and heavy as a treadmill that can be a real bother.
The return address is more of an issue -- make sure this is mentioned in the dispute thread and you can always call up Paypal and ask them what to do -- they can add notes to the account. They're more human than you think.0 -
Hi there, I've recently won a Paypal dispute, and the best advice I can give is to send any e-mails you've sent/received from the seller. Include them as attachments in your dispute, along with a detailed description of the problem. It's in your favour that you've tried to rectify the problem first.
In my case, it was over non-delivery of an item, then the seller disappeared from ebay, but I still got all my money back...:j

Have now phoned Paypal who were very helpful and also seemed concerned about the false address and are looking into it further.
Thanks for your advise.0
