Payless.es car hire in the Canaries - any excess??

As the title says - is there an excess on car hire through them??

They are another name for Cicar.com, but the prices are about 20% cheaper for the same cars/same days.

Anybody know???

Answered my own question, as we got back on Wednesday:

Payless.es cars are EXACTLY the same fleet and company as Cicar, only around 20% cheaper. You even pick them up at the Cicar desk. There is a Payless.es desk at Fuerteventura, but they don't use it unless it is very busy.

There is no excess.

They do charge you for the fuel in the tank (eg 18 Euros for half a tank, 9 Euros for a quarter etc), but refund you at the same rate when you return the car, so if the car had half a tank at the start of the hire and you return with a quarter of a tank, you will get 9 Euros back.

Also, book an Astra GTC 3 door in Fuerteventura and you WILL currently get an upgrade to a 5 door Astra - as there aren't any 3 door ones in ther fleet!

In short, Payless.es is the best value car hire we have found in the Canaries.
