The Appeal Process

Please can someone help - is there any statutory proceedures that need to be followed after the appeal meeting is held - my partner had his meeting over 4 weeks ago and has not heared a thing - it is getting unbearable - both on our relationship and his morale. Should they follow a time scale or are they free to leave us hanging?!?!
He has been paid but has been told that this money is coming out of the final offer in the compromise agreement if this appeal is unsuccessful - I would really appreciate any help on this and have found all the posts really useful.
I anxiously await a reply and thanks in advance as we are being very badly treated and dont knwo which way to turn......

HI Alexia - they should have come back with an answer by now... You could put in a grievance in writing about how long it is taking and the impact it is having on your family.... You could also ring ACAS a government helpline for advice on your rights and what to put in any letter - their number is 08457 47 47 47. Good luck!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
