Any experiences?
Nationwide e-bond monthly interest gets paid on the last day of the calender month, is it at or after close of business on the last day, or any set time of the day?
When does interest get paid on my e-Bond?
Interest on six month e-Bonds is paid on maturity or monthly on the last day of each calendar month and on maturity.
Nationwide e-saver annual interest gets paid on the last day of the calender month of March, is it at close of business, or any set time?
When does interest get paid on my e-Saver?
e-Savings interest rates are calculated daily and paid annually on the 31 March.
Cheers!!!

e-bond monthly gets paid several days in advance, and is 'credited' the last day of the month, if transfer to a NW Flexaccount is chosen as the interest option. Don't know the score if the interest is paid into the bond however.
My last e-bond matured on 31 December and was available (with interest added) on the same date. However it was opened the previous 31 December (and interest was payable only up to 30 December) In other words you need to be clear about the actual maturity date (same day of the month, I would guess) in the case of your six month bond.
Annual e-saver interest is calculated to 31 March. But I believe they are saying to allow until 2 April for it to appear (see recent login message).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
Thought both would show today, at least at end of play, say 5pm, as both state payable 31/03?0

Anyone know whether they calculate and pay interest from the 1st to the say 31st of the month, and pay you interest so credit it at the end of the same month or do they calculate and pay interest from the date in the month you opened the bond to the day before the date you opened the account in the next month, and pay you interest so credit it at the end of the same month?
So, opened May 10th.
Do they;
Pay June 1st to June 30th, credit end of June
or
Pay June 10th to July 9th credit end of July0 -
Interest from monthly e-bonds is actually credited on the monthly anniversary date, not at the end of the month.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Do they then;
Pay say interest from June 1st to June 30th, credit on the monthly date of opening the bond.
So opened on March 20th.
Pay interest from June 1st to June 30th
Credit interest for June 1st to June 30th on June 20th on interest earned between June 1st to June 30th.
