Barclays - Financial Difficulty Consideration - PAID!!

Morning all,
Good way to start my Tuesday....
sent a letter in to Barclays asking them to consider my current circumstances with regard to my claim for charges, they sent me a financial statement to fill in and send back, which i did.
This morning through the door is a letter with a nice juicy cheque for over £1000 attached as a "gesture of goodwill". It actually works out at 75% of the entire claim, so I'm a happy bunny
The letter also goes on to say that when the FSA make their decision any payment will be less the goodwill cheque, which is expected. I'm actually thinking that the FSA will set a similar figure to the credit card charge of £12, in which case I'm sitting in profit from this payment!
Yay!
