Hi can anyone tell me the limit of cigarettes and alcahol you can bring into the uk from spain?

You can bring back the following goods to the UK, as long as it is for “your own use”.
This means:
- Bringing back goods for your own consumption
- Bringing back gifts for family or friends

Quantities
- 3200 cigarettes
- 200 cigars
- 110 litres of beer
- 90 litres of wine
- 400 cigarillos
- 3 kg of smoking tobacco
- 10 litres of spirits

I would just add, as long as it is from Spain proper - if it is from the Canary Islands, which enjoy duty-free status, then you are back to the old days (200 cigs, 1 litre of spirits etc)....

It should be noted that Spanish airport limit purchases in a single transaction. Also this year some had signs saying you could only put 400 in oyur luggage and that all other you must carry. If they find excess in your luggage they will be confiscated.

Spanish law states that anyone taking out of Spain more than 800 cigarettes requires an export licence. It is a law that is not commonly enforced but it is occasionally, especially if someone is "misbehaving"
