London Day Trip

I am looking for a day trip from London to any or any combination of these places, LEEDS CASTLE / STONAGE / BATH / WINDSOR . We are 4 ( 2A + 2C). Can anybody suggest the cheapeast trip, couch / train with discounted entrace tickects etc. thanks in advance.

I suggest Windsor. Its close enough to London to not spend half your day travelling and its easily accessible by train. You have the castle, the river, loads of lovely cafes & restaurants, and depending on the ages of the children, there is Legoland.

Alernatively, Bath is a bit more of a trek from London and is more costly. Can take a couple of hours by train but again, there is loads to see and do. Roman Baths etc.

For both places, you would have to take the train from Paddington. If you have London travelcards, you MAY get discounted entry to LEgoland as its not far from London.
