I buy mine from Costco too though they are in packs of 18. Having tasted the Tesco version when they were on a deal, they are most likely made to a different recipe too, as the Costco ones are 95% pork. The Tesco ones seem to be over spiced for my palate but they are still probably the tastiest they sell!0 -

I have compared the ingredients with Tesco and Costco Riverway sausages. Costco are 95% meat and are delicious - do not shrink. Tesco are 68%?ish, shrink, are greasy and made to a completely different recipe. I won't touch the Tesco ones but we eat the Costco ones once a week. HTH.0 -
better to get them from costco i would say they are lovely,
last pack we got was 18 for £1.970 -
these are superb but are also very expensive.
perks
not much fat
can oven cook officially
dont shrivel
cons
over double the price of alternatives.
others I have tried are tesco frozen sausages, higher fat and shrivel, less tasty
tesco premium sausages frozen, actually even worse than the cheaper frozen and way more fat
tesco in fridge sausages not as bad as the frozen but not as good as riverway
the riverway sausages have some serious price inflation going on tho. in august was £2.20 for 12 september £4.25 for 12 this week £5 for 12 but buy one get one free, this forcing the base price up tho and buy 1 get 1 free not that useful for short life products. I have doubts how good quality these are when frozen and how long they can keep after thawing.0 -
We get them as well from Tescos and Sainsburys, we've always enjoyed themNov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails

We stock up on them when on offer as they are quite expensive otherwise. Definitely not fatty, I cook them in the oven and have to add a little oil to stop them sticking to the tray.0

Wonderful meaty sausages.
Only wish the availability at Tesco was more 'stable'. We stock up when they have them.0 -
Unfortunately, I discovered a 'foreign object' whilst having my first couple of Cumberlands...
I emailed the company (Riverway) two weeks ago, still no reply0
