faulty electricity meter
Options
finally - British gas have looked at the shadow meter readings and confirmed what we already knew - our meter is knackered.
British Gas have refunded us £1100 in back payment, but will only go back to Jan 2007 when the meter was moved from indoors to outside - even though i think that the meter was inaccurately recording more than 2 years previous.
British Gas are now in the process of sorting out a new meter to be fitted and then they advised we need to discuss compensation with them - how do i work out what would be a reasonable amount?
