Palmone Tungsten E2 and TomTom - HELP!

Hi folks!
Can anyone help me with a technical prob?!! I am pretty desperate!
I have a Palmone Tungsten E2 (love it!), with a 512MB SD (empty), and a basic Bluetooth GPS receiver. So far so good...
Now, I have been given a copy of TomTom Navigator 5 and I want to install it to the SD card. I have no instructions with it and therein lies my problem - I can't even work out how to install the application to my SD card!!
I have tried copying all of the installation files to the card via 'Palmone Quick Install', but when I do a hot sync it won't copy any of the files across (except start.prc and CN.prc). I also tried just loading the 'start.prc' file onto the SD and running it - but I got the same error message.
When I then try to run the newly created icon 'Navigator' on the PDA it just flips up an error message.
Could anyone please please please advise me how to proceed? I would be extremely grateful!
