Help with cca section 75

We recently bought a car which was partially paid for on the credit card. The car has had several problems, coolant sensor fault needing a replacement, a new battery and 2 new front tyres, all of which happened in the 3 month warranty. We contacted our cc company and started a section 75 process and we have now received a letter that says the retailer disputes everything we have said and that regarding to the car battery he offered to check it under the warranty ( but thats not what he said to me). The bank believe they have reached an impasse with the retailer and thats it.

I thought both parties ie cc company and the retailer were jointly responsable?

Where do we stand now? What do we do?

We are now stuck with a car that decides to start when it wants, a 25 week pregnant wife and a 18 month baby and desperate for a car that is reliable.

Anyone with any help would be very much appreciated
