I've managed 2 days, but got collared for the Grand National sweepstake today, so I'm £2 down. I have no doubt I won't win a penny, unfortunately, any horse I back seems to die. I feel very guilty indeed...

Casper how can you be on 5?? Its day 3 of April??

Ahhh maybe you start at payday - doh!

Good luck with your crazy target :D

    Hi becky_rtw

I started on the 25th March lol, thanx for the encouragement, I'm trying to stop the popping into the shops thing and learning to live off what I've got in the freezer and cupboards lol. I'm even counting groceries as spend days because I ended up classing all sorts of things as groceries lol. I'm trying really hard to pay off my massive debts.

    Good luck to you too

    Cheers

I've made it past lunch without going to the chippy with everyone else! I almost went out for a bag of crisps - luckily I emptied my purse of all change last night so couldn't justify drawing £10 out for a snack...phew!

Now if I can just resist after work drinks...
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...

Wow good luck Casper - I count groceries too but set a lower target because I am training for the marathon so have to buy lots of food!:eek:

I'm going for 5 in a row this week though because I am going to New York on 27th :eek::eek:

Managed 2 out of 3 so far but am sure I will also get collared for sweepstake on Sat - my horses don't end up dying (as far as I know!) but have a habit of dropping out of the race at the last minute - Piquant maybe this will be our year? ;) Good luck to you and your 3 legged mule! Let me know if it romps home to victory x

I am so jealous! New York is my most favourite place on the planet! Have fun, and running the London marathon? OMG! That's amazing, good luck with that - you're so brave to do that.
