Alleyway noisy when windy

Hello,
I wondered if there was anything I could do about the noise that is generated through a narrow alleyway next to our front door when its's windy. When it's windy it can sound like there's a HGV driving past. We've not long been in this house and it took quite a while to work out what it was.
Thanks,
Woo

Is it on your land?0

Yes - and just below our bedroom so if it's a particularly windy night can keep us awake.0

We do have a gate at one end - just a wooden garden gate - for security.
Although it is on our land our neighbour does have access over it (it's the only way to get to his back garden without going through his house.0 -
Any suggestions?0
