European City Hotel Price Checker?

Does anyone know of a website that checks lots of hotels/b&bs for certain dates ideally covering Milan?

Books some cheap flights but didn't book the hotel and now the prices have gone through the roof!

If I could search other Euro cities that would be good as it might cheaper to change the flights.

Cheers :easter:

    Perhaps consider Bergamo.

    Thanks, will have a look.

Oh dear, everything apart from that weekend is about £70-100 per night but on the weekend we are going they are about £300 per night!

Can I ask which dates you need?

When Milan is very busy, I usually find that the culprit will be listed amongst the events at the Fiera Milan.

On the plus side, Milan has hundreds of hotels of all standards but even so, it can get full. My guage for how truely busy the city is, is when this hotel is full... http://www.villatorretta.it/ ...as it's quite a way out of the city centre.
It's a beautiful place, reasonably accessible by rail and I have booked some great rates here within the last year.

Thanks. It is the weekend of the 25/26 April - something must be going on!

That one you listed doesn't have prices which is a shame.

    Looking at campsites now...

Sorry. Sussed it... 25th April is Liberation Day and St. Mark's Feast Day which is a public holiday.
Plus it's also AC Milan vs Palermo so Palermo's fans will be staying over in the city.

Italy has an excellent railway system, and there are many delightful places within easy reach of Milan. For example, you could stay on the banks of Lake Como...

Which airport are you flying to LINate, Malpensa MXP or Bergamo BGY?

Malpensa, getting in at 2250 which is causing the problems.

Ideally we want a room but the nearest camp site is quoting £120 for their shuttle from the air port!

Don't really want to let the flights go and lose the money but it is looking likely...

Thats the problem with cheap flights, they're cheap for a reason. And the reason is usually because accomodation and cost of living is incredibly expensive.

I've not found that before, ever.

Been to loads of places on cheap flights.

Its just bad timing that I picked a local holiday!
