G20 Summit demos - would you travel to the Ideal Home Show on the 2nd?

My daughter and I had planned to go to the Ideal Home Show on Thursday and only realised over the weekend about the G20 demos.
I read from your post that the main day will be the 1st and that on the 2nd the demo will be at the Excel Centre in Docklands.
We are a bit concerned about going to London now on Thursday (my daughter more so). We are more worried about trouble on the underground on the 2nd and/or delays.
What would you do? Would you still go? We really wanted to go this week but don't want to if it's going to be risky on Thursday.
Any advice welcome please.

I would say that the chances of getting caught up in any trouble is minimal. The Ideal Homes show is at Earls Court, right? That's pretty far from Docklands, isn't it?0

Yes, it is over the other side, but I suppose my worry now would be trouble perhaps on the tubes.
I suppose it's a case of not knowing until we are actually in London!Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -

You'll be fine, as mentioned earlier, its miles away from the docklands or the city of London, I would go with my children without hesitation. (apart from the fact that they wouldn't want to go, they went last year and were bored)0 -
The tubes are fine with no problems at all. I live near Earls Court and have not seen any evidence at all of the protests. If I hadn't seen it on the news I wouldn't have known it was happening! Go to the Ideal Home Show!0

I went last year and I was also bored. It wasn't as good as previous years in my opinion so I shan't bother going again
The reason it wasn't as good last year is because they put the exhibition on just the ground floor. Lots of people must have complained as this year it's back to two floors again, which is so much better.
As it is, I'm not going today after all as I don't feel brilliant, must be some kind of virus, so it's been delayed!Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0
