Received a PCN - Grounds to Appeal?

Hi,
I receieved a PCN today for parking half inside a parking bay and half on a yellow line.
The ticket stated "Contravention 01: Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours" but I think that the contravention should have been "Contravention 24: Not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space".
Would this administrative error be grounds to appeal? And do any of you think it would be successful?
