We are getting rid of our sky freeview box next week and was looking for a video sender. We have Sky + downstairs ad are having another box installed on Monday Sky + also ( in granny flat) hence the reason for getting rid of freeview sky box - they have to disconnect it from dish to enable connection of 2 sky +......So I was lloking for a video sender - sure I seen someone talking of getting one for £20, but on searching the net could only find ones at £60 +

Any hints or tips folk??

Still got them at Tesco for just under £25. Works fine.
  • I found quite a good selection on e-Bay

The daft thing with these is that you seem to have to buy a pair every time! I wanted to extend Sky to another three rooms... and only really needed one transmitter and three receivers... not managed to find that sort of arrangement yet!

When the Sky man comes get him to put a TV-Link in for you. I don't think they will charge very much. Much more reliable than a video sender as its hard wired.
Or you can simply do it yourself.
Buy them at tesco's, Argos etc. details here.
