downloading cds from a dvd..how did I do it before?

I have a dvd with 57 soul cds on it. I already have downloaded 10 and turned them into separate albums, but that was a while ago now I need to download the rest into separate albums and I can't remember how I did it I have had a dabble I can't do it? the dvd is in one drive and the blank cd inthe other. I think I must have used media player before, this time nothing's happening except it will play the tunes and display the albums but wont let me burn them to make single cd albums....what must I do and what could I be doing wrong a couple of times it came up with a message with 'there are no songs on cd' ( or similar) I know that - I'm trying to put some on it!!!

If your using Nero all you do is open the program and then goto make audio CD then browse to the DVD and drag the tracks over which you want to copy. I'd assume most other CD writing software would have a similar option.

I think you might have to extract the albums on the dvd to your hard drive first, then use Nero to create an Audio CD. I dont think you can burn from one disc drive to another.

But I could be wrong.
