I recently received an email from the above company and checked out their website. The run a service where (for a £50 fee) they will 'introduce' you to current accounts that you are guarranteed to be accepted for. It all sounds extremely dodgy and I would never usually consider using a service like this but I am becoming very frustrated about my lack of a cheque book. I have applied to change my Halifax cardcash account to their current account but have been turned down - I presumed due to the £500 overdraft default on the credit history from my student days (around 2 years ago).

I was just wondering if anyone has used this service, or similar?

Its mainly just an affiliates link site, probably only recently created.

Seems that mostly the links are to moneysupermarket.com, so they get a % off of every purchase made.

The £50 introducing fee for bank accounts looks very dubious indeed ! Somethign that occasionaly pops up on watchdog as they definetly are not a financial institution in anyway shape or form ! Purely an affiliates type link farm.

Also the company operates out of a PO Box.

I would NOT send £50 under ANY circumstances !

I agree with everything the above poster says.
If you have an Internet connection and of course you do or you would not be reading this) then you can do everything for free.
If you insist on paying someone for finding you an account card or loan please send me a cheque!!!
