Hi frunchkins, glad to be back online, have been busy in the garden trying to make something out of the concrete corner I have utilised.
This was it when I started
This was after three black bags full of moss and weeds had been removed
12 hanging baskets attached to fence for cherry tomatoes and a brushwood windbreak attached to end fence for privacy and shelter. The two coldframes were also moved in and one of the raised beds.
6 potato grow bags full of earlies and late spuds
and the three blueberry bushes in their pots of ericaceous compost
Overall it is looking much better and ready to move the plants in which are growing in greenhouse and flat. There is a small bed along the fence too under the hanging baskets so will utilise that for onions I think. Just have two more raised beds to move in then the tiered baskets out of greenhouse and we are off and running down this end too:D
Spends this weekend
£3 on veggies at market
£12 for the brushwood screening - but have half left to use somewhere else yet.0 -
It looks exactly the same to me
. It felt a little weird being without it for so long, I must be more addicted than I thought :rotfl:.
Last night we went out for DH birthday and spent £47.55 on 2 starters, mains and 1 pud. I don't think they included everything as I had 2 cocktails, some others had beer and they only included 1 cocktail and 1 beer.
I'm feeling a little woozy today, not a hangover as such, more of a flippy tummy - honest!
Today is a NSD, which hasn't happened much this year. I'm going to spend the day feelin sorry for myself on the sofa

new garden section is looking good SM.
I've been busy today getting rid of a massive (but half dead and dreadful looking) lavender plant from titchy front garden. Been umming and arrhing about that for 2 years and finally done it. Now got a good space to put something else (has to be in a pot). Very sunny spot. The best bit is how good it feles to have finally done it!I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
