    I wrongly assumed that you were selling? Which I know things about!

    i am trying to get a tenant - i should have been clear.

    EA found me a tenant on a 6 month fixed contract and i paid them a fee upfront. tenant stayed in property for another 12 months on a periodic contract. EA did not contact me until they found out tenant was moving out and now want to invoice me for 12 months commission. is this allowed?

    I am retired agent but never handled rentals so sorry I can't help but good luck with trying to get an answer.
