Fly Globespan & Hand Luggage
Comments

when we checked into globespan flight at Glasgow last year our hand luggage wasn't weighed, but there was 6 of us with checked in hold baggage and 2 sets of golf clubs but we did only have rucksacks as hand luggage and our weight was well within the allowed weight. The guy who checked us in must have missed the day they done training on customer service, very rude and abrupt so I wouldn't fancy taking my chances with him, I personally would pay to put the bags in the hold or buy smaller bags, depending what mood the check-in staff are in they could see it as, why should you get away without paying the baggage fee and turn up with a bag that is over the maxium size you could possibly end up having to pay put the bag in the hold anyway and what would happen on the return, as I've found that on return the overseas staff can be quite strict with baggage.0

Last month at Glasgow when I was picking up my son coming from malaga with Globespan there they were using the trolley cage to check the luggage but not with everyone.. 2 cm is not a lot . I think it just depends on your luck and the mood of the check in assistant. Some are really strict and others a bit more lenient. I know at Malaga they made my son put in his trolley case.Think they are really strict there as they are at Alicante.
My holdall was 3 cm to big for Ryanair I paid to check it in but on the flight there was another people with the same holdall. I really think it up to you whether you want to chance it or not.0 -
Just a wee update, I have now bought two cabin bags that are under the size on the Globespan website. So now no worries at all. Got the bags at a great price from Asda £12 each, so very happy.0
