I had to get out of bed at 3am. Woke up boiling to find the heating going at full blast.
I really struggled to sort the clock out on it yesterday. Have tried again this morning.

Well it would perhaps have been better if I had put all the clocks forward instead of just some, so when I am trying to figure out what time it is I have half an idea!

I've got to go to the dentist today at lunchtime, BOO, but I also found a lump under my left armpit, and as a woman, automatically think of the BC scenario, so will be a bit worried until I see the nurse on Thursday night.

been lurking but had to reply to this scorgeous. I am really sorry to hear that you are concerned and have such a long wait to see the doctor. are they able to fit you in as an emergency appt? I know many times if you go along and wait they will see you. On many occasions lumps under the armpit turn out to be blocked or inflamed sweat glands and are easily cured. Have you been feeling ill recently? coldy or had flu etc? if so then it could be a gland a little like that which comes up under your jaw but its just become blocked and cant go down again. I hope all goes well when you have it checked just trying to ally your fears.

    Big big hugs.

You never stop worrying about your kids and after what you told your mum last night she obviously thinks you lost your marbles somewhere along the line....:rotfl:

My mum would worry but then leave it till she could find someone to come and check on me.........

I know but it is getting a little out of hand. I think I will have to have a chat with her and tell her that if she persists I will not tell her anything and will look for a house where I can't be checked up upon. :D

She also never stops moaning at the moment. I can never do enough but short of painting the bathroon ceiling at 2am I don't seem to have a minute! She even walked round in advance of Dad and Great Aunt on Saturday evening just so that she could have a moan about said aunt! :rotfl:

Morning all.. hugs all round whether you need them or not! :p

Had a bit of a funny weekend, drank waaay too much on Friday and got in horrendous bad mood - really fed up Saturday, but had a lovely day yesterday doing stuff in the garden and visiting a friend. Work very quiet this morning - boring few days ahead I think.. yaaawn.

Thank you, I'm sure I'll be fine. I could get an appointment with my doctor tomorrow afternoon at 2.30 but the problem I have is that I work fulltime and still on probation, so don't want to ask for any time off.

    Gemmzie, hope all goes well.

Bookseller, your post about your mum making your dad drive round made me smile, thank you, as I am having a real manic monday.

I've got to go to the dentist today at lunchtime, BOO, but I also found a lump under my left armpit, and as a woman, automatically think of the BC scenario, so will be a bit worried until I see the nurse on Thursday night.

Hope you all have a good day
Hi Scorge, I found a lump on one of mi bollox last year and immediately feared the worst. Went into a right panic (cause Im a bit of a drama queen like that, was even making a will and wondering what my DS was gonna do without me), whilst I can laugh at that now looking back, it is serious all the same. ANyway, I phoned the doc and he calmed me down and told me that it could be 10 or more things of which only one will be Cancer. He told me to come in the next day. Some fella cupped mi sack, had a good feel. I was ready to get naked and he was like 'you only need to drop your trousers mate' I felt a bit daft. I got a scan and everything was ok. Like Pan said it could be one of many things of which only one will be Cancer related. Do you feel a bit eugh, if so could be a sign of swollen glands as they are prepping themselves to do battle with an infection. If you're worred go on the NHS Direct website and make an appoinement with the docs. Len
