Online Checkin and checked-in baggage question.

I have checked in online and printed my boarding passes, but the boarding pass says:
1 CABIN BAGGAGE ONLY
I have paid for checked-in baggage - but it is not mentioned on the boarding pass, though it does say I have paid for it on my confirmation page when I paid.
Is this going to be a problem - or is the boarding pass only for boarding?
I've never flown RyanAir before - and i'm expecting the worst - the whole procedure is way way too confusing and unhelpful.

I think you may have slipped up by trying to check in online. If you have bags to check in, you are not going to be able to avoid the traditional check-in because they need to tag your bags, weigh them and ask you the usual questions about them. Online check in [from memory]is just for the people who carry a small bag on board.
Perhaps you will have to phone them now. Good luck.0 -
I hope I have not messed up. I think things have recently changed - according to their website you can do online check-in with a checked-in bag:

Ok, I phoned RyanAir - and even though my printed boarding pass only says "1 cabin bag only" that does not mean I do not have my check-in baggage allowance that I paid for.
A bit confusing really - I hope they change it for the boarding pass to say that I also have 1 checked in bag.
Apparently for online check-in with checked in bags, there is a 'drop-off' area where someone takes your bag and puts a label on it. I don't see how different this is to checking in - but there you go.0 -
A couple of things I have just noticed booking a recent flight. They've put up the price of luggage from £19 to £30 for 1st hold bag. The airport check-in fee has gone up from £4.75 per person per flight to £20 !! Though if you are able to check-in online, you can do now even if you are taking baggage. They've also said that the free Electron card is still free BUT "As a special offer to Visa Electron card holders, Ryanair, for a limited period only, will not apply a Debit Card charge"0

Because 'checking in' means confirming your intention to travel on that plane and being issued with a boarding pass to facilitate it. At a 'bag drop' they deal only with luggage. That's the difference.0 -
Thanks Aris, I have just had the same realisation, as I printed out my boarding card, thank you for putting my mind at ease!Wins this year: Jet2 flight (£110). £500 Heart fm. Phil Collins Love songs cd (£5.99)0

The reason for the changes is that Ryanair is scrapping airport checkin desks. All there will be is baggage drop off points, hence they have hicked the price of airport checkin to get people used to not using it. At Stansted even if you previouslt selected airport checkin, it meant using a machine to enter your details which printed your boarding pass for you.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

It means that Ryanair is getting tough on the idiots who think "one cabin bag" means one large rolling bag stuffed to the gills plus a backpack plus a handbag plus a bag full of books and magazines plus a bag full of alcohol and smellies plus a bag with enough food to feed the 5000. If you do turn up like that then be prepared to pay £30 PER BAG to get each excess bag checked or be refused boarding.the boarding pass says:
1 CABIN BAGGAGE ONLY
