Antibiotics allergy?

My Tom cat was prescribed Hills for his ear allergy (this was suspected but now I'm not so sure to be honest) as well as steriods. Unfortunately he then slept out & came home with various fight damage's in the form of bites to his ears. One ear became infected so he was prescribed CYNULOX - however subsequently he has vomited every afternoon. Note I stopped giving the steriods because I felt that could clash with the cynulox. Could he be allergic to these tablets?
I have noted with some dismay that the envelope states one tablet once a day (however I misheard that I should give him one tablet in the morning) I will phone the vets 2moro to ask for assistance/advice but wondered if anyone had previous experiences with this. I will still give him tomorrow mornings tablet as the infected ear has nearly healed.

Synulox is usually twice a day dose and can cause vomiting and diarrhoea in a few animals. The human equivalent is good at causing diarrhoea in people as well. Ask your vet.0

I've known Synulox to cause vomiting, so best go back and see your Vet.
Edit:
Beat me to it Snowman! Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

thanks for this
not overly impressed with the Celia Hammond Vet - as he says this is not the case! Anyways thankfully the ear is sufficiently healed that I can stop giving it. Why dispense something that causes vomiting !!!!!!! I gave the remainder back as I said that there was no point keeping unused drugs but 2 be honest I may go elsewhere if that naughty critter gets himself in a state again so as to get different meds!
Vet actually said that I should give him boiled chicken as he might have picked something up! He totally disputed the fact that the vomiting co-incided with the meds....
Thanks for your input - good thing I can get a second opinion here (I know it's not recommended but well - I did visit a vet after asking for advice & have decided to heed my own common sense & yr two's advice).0
