Using the link above and a pepsi £1 off voucher I ordered two CDs, serperatly of course. I got the following response from CD-WOW Customer Services regarding my second order:
    From: verification@cd-wow.com
    Subject: Your Order: xxxxxxxx
    Date: Tue, 17 May 2005 08:16:51 -0000

    Hi,

We are sorry but we have had to cancel your order and refund the payment you have made.
Your order has been cancelled for the following reason.

You have used more than one promotional code or voucher in this order.
According to our Terms and Conditions, one Voucher or Promotional Discount per person per campaign is allowed, irrespective of the number of E Mail addresses, Card Holder addresses or Delivery Addresses the individual may posses.

Only one promotional discount per transaction is allowed. A discount link via a
partner / affiliate network are not entitled to use any further voucher or
    promotional discounts.

CD WOW! maintain the right to refuse, and refund if relevant, (even following
acceptance of an order) any transaction where, in its sole opinion, the customer / transacting party is unauthorised to use multiple discounts.

We are a small company and our profit margins are very small, by allowing such orders to be completed our prices will inevitably be forced up.

If you would like to place an order in the future, please do so according to
our Terms and Conditions and we will be happy to complete it.

    Kind Regards

    CD WOW!

I have just tried to place the order again using the same method to see if they reject it again. Will let you know the outcome.

It could be the end of mega discount CDs/DVDs/etc. :(

My interpretation of this is that they will only accept a link discount or a voucher discount not both. I think they may have also noticed I got a load of £1 off e-vouchers from the pepsi link (above). Maybe the e-vouchers are linked to the code (which I also got off this site) used to obtain them.

    Later.

Mine have been going through ok in recent weeks. Seems some people get hit with this email from time to time. While the affiliate link options are there and the voucher box is still there too people will use them. Not our fault if CDWOW cant program their website properly to prevent this happening.

Should they begin to enforce it however there are near as cheap places out there. Maybe they would reconsider if there orders and proffits dropped right off.

As far as being a small company - thats utter tosh - Ive got sitting on my desk a 36 page colour catalogue that came out of a high profile national magazine (Edge). That doesnt come cheap.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Bad news, they rejected my second attempt too. They let the first one be though and have confirmed dispatch. I will try a third time with the RSPCA link and a £1 voucher and see what happens. Also, when they cancel the order they do not refund the voucher, which I think is a bit naughty.

To get 20% off the first item in an order, right click on the 'Add to cart' button of a CD you want and select 'Copy Shortcut' or 'Copy Link'. Paste the link into the address bar of you browser and add '&affid=14319&pp_nr=1' (without the quotes) to the end of the link (no space between the two).

    e.g. http://www5.cd-wow.com/add2cart.php?a2c=true&a2c_cdwow_item=17813&PAGE_REFERRER=top75.php
    PLUS &affid=14319&pp_nr=1
    EQUALS http://www5.cd-wow.com/add2cart.php?a2c=true&a2c_cdwow_item=17813&PAGE_REFERRER=top75.php&affid=14319&pp_nr=1

You should also be able to add an e-voucher at the checkout for more discounts!! ;)

PS: Don't forget, only buy one item per order to maximise you discount.

I have tried using the method I outlined in the post above which incidently makes it even cheaper than using the 75p off link. Lets see what happens this time.

Thanks for this my friend. Works a charm!

    Especially in combination with a £1 PEPSI e-Voucher! :)

    Who me? Leech? Vampire? Parasite?!

New Morcheeba album for £6. A discount of £2.75, not bad at all
