Hi,

can anyone recommend a small van that runs on LPG that I could possibly get for £2500 or under?

Search autotrader for vauxhall corsa petrol vans. They do a 1.4 with factory fitted LPG. Seen one at £2995 somewhere but there might be cheaper.

Any van will do so long as it can easily hold a washing machine

you might struggle with a corsa van then due to the high load area and tight rear access :D.
why does it need to be lpg? and why just one washing machine?

I only ever take one washing machine with the job I need it for. I am just thinking LPG to be green!!

    from which aspect?
you will get much better fuel economy from a diesel than lpg, meaning you use less fuel.
but using lpg you will produce less harmful particulate apparently but use up much more fuel.
your going green already by recycling a van by buying 2nd hand,so if i were you i would maybe look for a transit connect. or at worst a vx combo diesel.
these should be high enough to fit a washing machine, but also give good fuel economy due to them being a bit more aerodynamic than a transit.

I'm not brave enough to pull a trailer.
