I upgraded to the lates windows live messenger and theres a lot of other stuff that has been installed such as live toolbar and lots of stuff I'm not even sure I need. I never had net framework 2 but now theres net framework 2 and 3.2 do I really need all this extra stuff I'm not sure exactly what was installed at the same time
I cant find how to uninstal the live toolbar its not in add remove programs

I have tried that and it just leads me to add remove programs the same as in control panel add remove and there is no wondows live toolbar listed its installed though its on my browser now why do the6 make it so difficult to remove
Would it be under some other kind of name? Thanx

no idea how to remove it...I always uncheck the "install toolbar" etc..options, so I've never seen it

I'd say uninstall messenger then reinstall, making sure you uncheck the extras that you don't want.Where there's a will, there's a way to get something cheaper from somewhere else!!

Just checked on my (Vista) machine..
Go toAdd/Remove, select Windows Live Essentials, select Uninstall/Change then tick the apps you want to uninstall. The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

Brilliant that worked thankyou
I do usually always tick not to instal stuff like that but this time for some stupid reason I installed everything so there is othewr stuff I probably do not need either but I've just taken that off for now, I'll check the rest later.
Still not sure about the net framework as I did already have net framework 1 and I wasnt sure if the higher versions were necessary as I dont want to slow the comp down too muchThanx
