I have a ISA with the KRBS.
Thinking of shutting it down, i need the money, but may leave it for a while, but then will need the money quickly as and when etc.
If i leave it for now, a cheque will take to long to clear as and when etc, does anyone know for sure or have they made withdrawals from their Direct ISA using either a BACS or even CHAPS payment straight into their current account?
Cheers.

KRBS does provide the facility to send withdrawals via BACS. They use the bank account details provided on the application (do you remember being asked for bank account details when opening this account?).....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0

Nope, been a while, but will not be a problem submitting a new current account detail along with withdrawal instructions.
Withdrawal Slip
Letter outlining instructions BACS and bank details
Current account statement/proof of bank details

It's not even that complex, meatandtwoveg.
Download this form: http://www.krbs.com/pdfs/genericwithdrawal150109.pdf and complete the BACS transfer details, with any bank account you choose.0 -

I wonder, if you had a Flex account with the NW, do you think you could post this instruction from abroad (Oz), and they would follow your instructions, and dump your funds in your nominated account? Even though you are not in the UK?

Thanks
I wouldn't rely on the NW to be accommodating with anything like this. It has just taken them 28 days exactly to payout the balance of a bond I had with them and...it had to be a cheque. I have lodged a formal complaint.0 -

The NW will only be recieving a BACS from the KRBS, no problem there surely?
I called them up today the NW, asked them if i could post a CHAPS request from Oz, by recorded delivery, then they said no problem, as soon as they recieve the CHAPS request by post, they will action it, as long as it is to another bank or BS in the UK.0 -
KRBS won't care if you write your letter from Timbuctu, they will still process it as long as you are transferring to a UK bank.0
