Resurrecting that link must have struck a nerve with BT. It was working this morning but now brings up a message:Sorry, The Web2SMS and Self-service using SMS trials have now closed. Thank you for your support during these Beta trials.
Web2SMS was a trial of a service that allowed customers to send text messages from a PC screen.- Business customers might like to register for a similar service here.
- Personal customers can find out about BT Text service, which allows you to send text messages from your home phone, here.

The Beta TeamTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
