I will be graduating this year in and will be staying in the town where i attend university to work (i have already received an offer of work).
I am due to move out of my current property at the end of june so will require a property for july.
I have been looking on search engines such as rightmove in order to search for properties but most of the properties that i find either have immediate availability or are available around april/may sort of time.
Does this mean that i need to wait to find properties that are available in july (when i require a property)?
Or if a property is available earlier (such as may or june) will my offer still be considered?
Thank you

You are looking too soon. Advertising is expensive and few will be advertising in March for a July tenant.0

Yep, usually 'professional' rents don't come up 'til 4-6 weeks before the move in date. It's quite hard to get your head round when you're used to organising your student rents 9 months before you're due to move in! Don't fall into the trap of looking too soon, finding somewhere you love and moving in too early though. I did that last year and had two rentals on the go at once... very stressful.
If you're looking to move in July time, I'd start looking end of May.0 -
Get a head start - contact the local LLs Association. They can tell you which LLs self manage their properties, so that you can avoid extortionate letting agency fees, and you can ask them to let you know of any properties likely to become available June/July time.0

way too soon. start looking a month before you need to move.
as long as you have the deposit and a months rent sorted your laughing, sign a lease and move in the same day.0
