I've ordered from Tescos online, and when the delivery arrived the items in question had been replaced with a substitute, which was not on offer and therefore much more expensive !!
Even though when you are ordering online you have to put in your postcode so that only offers available in your area show up!!

maybe we should start an NI grabbit thread in the NI board then - make it easier for us lot and less disappointing when you read and find we cant get it over here?!

This has happend to me several times in the past with the grabbit board - got excited, went to get my bargains and get a dirty look by the staff when I question why it hasnt been reduced

Just popped out this morning and bought the Daily Star which supposed to include a £5 off £30 spend voucher for Lidl's, which Tesco's also accept. Turns out the voucher excludes N.Ireland, but the paper is entitled an Ulster paper:mad: Why print the damn voucher in the Ulster paper if it doesn't work here?

Email now going to Lidl and to Daily Star.

Probably due to the fact that Lidl NI is part of the Lidl Ireland operation and not part of Lidl UK. That's also why a lot of Lidl stuf in NI is more expensive then on the mainland.

Funny though as our stuff is much cheaper than in the ROI. We got 2 identical brochures the other week and the price differences were wild - around £100 cheaper for a keyboard in the north than in the south, and that was allowing for exchange rate with euro!!
