our tickets are here too!! cant wait!!

A bit worried about all of the people saying its not suitable for children...i cant imagine a bunch of adults on the tea cups but i guess the free fair must be for the adults though eh??

Luke (3) is very excited too!!

those that are saying "it's not suitable" really mean we dont want loads of kids running around, race tracks and pit lanes aint safe.
it's a promo day not a fully blown F1 meet, get a life, the kids will love it loads to do and goodies to collect , have a great day out.
remember to take, raincoat and or suncream, race tracks are open areas and you will burn quickly, same for rain its a long run back to the car park.

    Hi Paula

I was at Silverstone for the F1 last year and there were lots of food stalls then and I'd expect there to be for this day too.

There's not a lot of shelter so when it's sunny you're in the sun and when it's raining you're wet. I walked the circuit trying out all of the stands on the Friday (practice day) and I had to keep slapping on the suncream but on the race day, Sunday I was in waterproofs, top to toe. Best to be prepared.

The noise can be quite loud for the F1 and I guess it will be for this race day too, we were given ear plugs on arrival on the Friday. There were also lot of people in ear defenders, my little one included. If you think the noise might be a problem for your little ones it might be worth get some cheap ear plugs or taking ear defenders (especially if you've already got some or have a friend who has some)

while I've been typing bordercars has already said be prepared for all weathers

we went to one at Donington, took our own food(stalls are expensive,,mostly burgers etc), queues from motorway were awful..we live 6miles from track and took a shortcut but still took ages. cars with a blue badge could park trackside (had a different entrance, worth looking into) plenty of children there but those with buggies were a nightmare..very crowded, forever getting knocked ankles.
