Pipex taken over toucan phone contract help

Hi I was with toucan phone from August 2008 but then it was taken over by pipex and I am not happy with the service can someone advise me where I stand am I stuck in a 12 month contract with them or can I cancel as I never signed any paperwork to join pipex. I wish to change provider but do not want to have to pay a bill to leave. Thanks

    Unfortunately yes, you are now contracted to Pipex until the 12 months is up, the contracts have been passed on to Pipex and they don't need your agreement to do so.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
