Ipod Insurance?

Is there such thing as ipod insurance? (except the extended warranty from apple, as this doesnt cover for accidental damage).
I have found this on Comparethemarket.com
http://www.gadget-cover.com
but the site looks too dodgey for my liking, and the reason i didnt take it out when purchasing the product was because they wanted to charge me £150...
I have a Ipod Touch 2G 16GB - So face value about £220...
Any ideas?

Yep - and is this legit?? cos the site looks a lil dodgey or is it run by the network "3"?0 -
How am i meant to know..
btw, you don't need to own your property to get insurance. You can get single room insurance that includes specific items on it (e.g. ipod) - i think Endsleigh do student insurance that might cover it - http://www.endsleigh.co.uk/student-possessions.html0 -
But i wouldnt be elegible for student insurance, as im not a student.
Thanks for your help though, i think i will just not bother, and if it breaks for whatever reason just buy a new one!!0 -
it's a policy for non-home owners insuring their contents - i had it when i'd finished uni and was flat sharing for a few years.
Contact them.. but a new ipod is only £160 of so.. so just put £10 a month in the bank and you'll have your own policy.0 -
Why bother an iPod only costs £150ish. Good excuse to to the new model.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
