Hiya,
I'm begging and pleading for anyone to help, I have to go down to take part in a panel in London on the 8th April, but as my health isn't fantastic and it being the easter hoildays, my mum and little brother are coming with me....we are looking to stay over the night before which is the 7th of April and I've done some searches but the cheapest thing I can find on superbreak and such are coming up at £45, per adult per night...so with train travel and hotel it's coming up quite costly, I wonder if anyone can help with a cheaper offer anywhere....looking ideally for a decent hotel in the centre(ish) of London that includes breakfast...I'm really hoping someone here can help!
Thanks for anyone's help!!!

I have no great experience of hotels down here in London where I live, but have you tried travelodge? They have loads down here and you should be able to find one that is fairly near to where you need to be. They have budget rooms from about £30, although I don't know if that applies to London - they're probably more expensive here.
Where about in London do you have to go?Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -
Well I have to head off to the Brixham area, but I was going to leave them in central London to go to some of the museums, whilst I go to the meeting..Wins for 2022: Hydratem8 Water bottle, diary, flowers, Good food show tickets, childrens books x3,

You mean Brixton? That is fairly central. Just google Travelodge and the cheapest London hotel they have is Heathrow (miles away) at £45. More central and you are looking at £90.
I doubt you will find anything cheaper than you already have, but some other users coming to this thread might now better, I hope.
Good luck

Hi
If budget is key, I can't think of better than either TRavelodge or Etap. Both offer the chance of 3 per room, with double bed sofa/bunk. Etap is Barking, but Barking is easily accessible by tube the centre. TL Euston is showing a family room for your night, and Euston is a brilliant location for getting around. Where are you travelling in from?
Also, Holiday Inn has a room for 3 on your date, £68 - is Docklands, however again is near to a tube station. (Canning Town)0 -
Sorry, can't get the link to work for HI, but it's an Express HI on the advance purchase rate.0

Your date is right at the start of the school holidays, so a lot of the family rooms have gone. Here is the link for the hotel andyrules sugguested (London Royal Docks) £68 per room with a double bed and sofa bed and includes breakfast.

Travelodge in Battersea has a family room at £69 for the night you want. It is also on the flexible rate which means you can book and cancel up until noon the date of arrival if you find anything better. It is about a 10-15 min bus ride from there to Brixton.0 -
You could also try the secret hotel option on lastminute .com.
you dont get the name of the hotel till you book but you can save up to 70% and get really good hotels0 -
Ramada Jarvis has a easter promotion going on now where kids stay for free. prices from £99 for Heathrow or I think £129 for Hyde Park, this price is a room for 2 nights, including breakfast and first night's dinner, which I think is quite a bargain if you fancy staying 2 nights :-)0

HI
I stayed at a hotel on the outskirts of london, which is about a 10min drive from the nearest tube station.
I booked through a site called gtahotels.com. Through this site I got a room in the Days Hotel for £36 per night. This was the price of the room not per person. Its currently showing as available on 08 April and has risen to £48 but its still good value for London as its per room.
It was a really nice hotel, very modern and clean and although on a motorway services, I couldn't hear the motorway at all. I couldn't fault it and would stay there again at a drop of a hat
Good luckThe Cabbage
