Billy Bookcase... base panel

Hi,
We recently bought some second hand Ikea Billy Bookcases and had to dismantle them to bring them home.
I was putting them back together again today but can't work out how the base fascia panel attaches (the one that goes under the bottom shelf) on the corner unit.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
there are holes for dowels on the side panels but there doesn't appear to be any holes in the panel itself.
any help appreciated.

i seem to remember that the front panel has clips that simply push onto the bookcase.
its just a fascia panel and has no strength to it.Get some gorm.0 -
The facia panel is dowelled on. The bottom of the side has a cut out for skirting boards, have you got the sides upside down?0

we didn't bring any clips home with us. The guy we bought the bookcases off gave us a hand to dismantle them so maybe he removed the clips and did't put them in the bag.
can we buy them seperatly? i was thinking of glueing it with PVA but it would probably just come off when trying to manoeuvre the bookcase into the corner again. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -
We've got these, and I remember they are dowelled into the side panels. if there are no holes, you've got them upside down maybe or youve put the sides are on the wrong sides.0

Do you know the article ref number of the billy bookcase? Alternatively the width, depth and height.

hi,
the bookcase is 2m tall, the shelves (the exposed edge) are 42cm wide and 39cm deep. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -
I've just checked mine; they're fitted with dowels. Do you have them upside down?0
-
no,
the rest of it is just fine.
There are holes in the side panels for dowels, two each side about an inch apart, but no holes in the fascia panel what so ever. There are not even any marks on it to show where any kind of fixing once was.The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -
just a thought.
are the dowels inserted into holes in fascia panel, like the shelves, or do they brace it against the sides? The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -
