Early applications for ISA's

I went to the Abbey today and they told me that I can apply for an ISA for the next tax year 2009/10 early with them.
I was told to take my passport and proof of NI. Do I need anything else like a cheque?
Is there anywhere else where you can apply early?

I think you'll find they can't actually process the account before the 6 April 2009, they'll just be taking your application form etc beforehand to keep ready for the new financial year.0

Does not matter just as long as I avoid the queue.0

'Proof of NI?' First I've heard that one. I'd take proof of address, just in case.I was told to take my passport and proof of NI.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
The DLA letter contains my address and NI number that should be enough proof along with the passport.0

Lots of places accept early application. It doesnt get processed until the new tax year but it gets the paperwork in for day 1.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
