Trying to connect my JBL ON STAGE 2 speaker to my tv

Hi Guys

i a trying to connect my ipod speaker to my 19in lcd tv. The speaker is a jbl on stage 2 which has an audio in jack on it but i cant get any sound when i conect to my tv.

I got the correct cable and tryed all the holes audio hole on the back of the tv but no joy!! the tv is a Toshiba 19DV556DB.

Is it possible to connect this speaker?

Can anyone help? Or can anyone reccomend some small decent speakers?

    Use the line-out or audio out from your TV.

    Then you'll need to navigate through the menus on your TV to tell it to output the sound to the external speaker connection - you will likely see the choice to either output the inbuilt TV speakers or the external speakers, but not both at once.

    Finally make sure the JBL is in the right mode to play from the external sound source.
