I bought a corset, and while it was great for the waist - when I sat down my boobs were pushed almost up to my chin!:rotfl:

I managed to get the Ultimo strapless one, have gotten the 32FF - still not convinced that is the right size for me though? How hard can it be to find a bra that bloody well fits?
*sigh*
Got matching garter, but they didn't have pants to match in my size so fingers crossed they have them online - going to have a look now!
I can't really have a basque or corset because of the style of my dress - it is boned too you see
That's a nice idea - different lingerie on the night....because as much as the one I have gotten is pretty, it's so big I don't feel at all sexy just frumpy
Oh or some nice sleepwear maybe? A little chemise?Dream of being mortgage free....

Very bl**dy hard! I wish mine would just stay the same size for 5 minutes, I must have about 6 different bra sizes in my drawers because they fluctuate so much.
If it's any comfort you are better than me - I got married 3 years ago and there has been a massive improvement since then - I was a 32ff when I got married and ended up having to get a corset custom made!!
In terms of sizing, one of my friends who was convinced she wasn't very busty, was wearing a 36d. And she did have some overspill so it was too small in the cup as well. Eventually dragged her to Bravissimo where she discovered she was a 30g!
Just judge it on how it feels and looks - is it nice and snug round the back? do you have any bits spilling over or seem to have loads of excess fabric, etc.0 -
I was having awful trouble finding anything in Ivory, strapless and in my size (36A which many companies don't seem to think is worth making  ). M&S, BHS, La Senza - none of them had any. I totally didn't think to try debenhams so went to look yesterday and picked up 3 bra's and 3 basques to try. I was convinced I didn't want a basque as my dress has a corset but fell in love with the cleavage that this one gave me http://www.ultimo.co.uk/collection/?id=109 so I got it. £91 later   It's corset but not too corseted if that makes sense?
I tried it all on this morning as I had a friend to help me with the dress and everything went. The shoes, the veil, underwear, jewellery, tiara - everything. I really didn't want to take them off lol.
Anyway, the point of my post - Debenhams have LOADS of pretty ones and one with diamantes if I remember AND 20% off on that one this weekend. Bonus.

That is the range I bought my bra from in the end SK! It's just because it is from the larger range it seems huge and just covers me all up lol. I think the smaller ones look lovely.Dream of being mortgage free....

Aw, don't apologise - not your fault my boobs don't behave lol
I'm going back to the site to get an underbust one instead. I would still recommend them, their service was top notch:TCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Was thinking mustve been really quick. Not sure what I'll do now, dont think an underbust 1 would be any use my boons would be flobbing about all over the place:eek: sorry TMI
I wore a full corset when I got married because I just couldn't find a good enough strapless bra and it was fantastic. I had mine custom made though, and the first time I tried it on they were very high(i could rest chin on them!!) as although she had measured everything properly, the lady who made it hadn't really accounted for how much more in your face they would look when pushed up compared to a b-cup.
She made a few adjustments to it so that the extra material to allow for the bust started a little lower down, and this sorted it completely. Corsets definitely can work under a wedding dress with big boobs, but the fit needs to be very good.
hope this helps!0
