My printer has stopped printing anything I try & print ends up in the print queue & s

Printer problem.
My printer has stopped printing (all powered up with ink too).
Anything I try & print ends up in the print queue & says paused.
Something was "stuck" there, but I twiddled around with the device manager & managed to free & cancle it.
But I still can't print.
This has happened before, but I can't remember the solution, but I'm pretty sure its a software/setting problen rather than a hardware problem.
HELP:o I'm not very IT skilled:o

Is the printer paused? In the printer queue, click on the "Printer" menu and see if it has a tick next to it:
