Whole chicken, no oven. Help Please!

    I just cooked a large chicken in the slow cooker - just put it in rubbed skin with (celery) salt - I don't put any liquid in when I cook chicken or a large joint of beef, as I find within 20 mins there are some juices in the bottom of slow cooker from the meat.

    If you haven't got a roasting microwave you could microwave it in a bowl of water
