Has anyone here actually used the "kit"????
It comprises two pierced black plastic bags, 9inch wide by 17inch and 13 inch wide by 22 inch.
We've read up on the advice links offered but are still a bit muddled -- two bags, five potatoes.
So is it one potato in the smaller bag and two in the larger bag?
(And presumably, the two remaining into another pot. . . or pots?)0 -

Three in the large bag and two in the smaller one, fill the bag about a 3rd full with compost/soil then space the potato's out evenly, push into the soil til covered then just keep them watered, once the green shoots break through the top of the siol, cover them completely with more soil, continue in this way until the bags are full, it can take 3 or 4 toppings up.
then it's just a case of watering and feeding them (tomato food will do) until they have flowered, once the leaves start to die off, you should get a decent crop0 -
Brilliant stuff, dejavou! :j
Our 'chitting' stage is over, we've bought the compost, and tomorrow's the Big Day.
Many many thanks, and a bag of chips will wing its way to you, er, one day!0 -

That really would have baffled us! Figuring out five into two was bad enough, but five into three. . . Aaargh.:o0
