Well said, smoking stinks, kills and make you look very old and leathery faced!! I'd rather take a fart in my face any day.

I'm a non smoker and agree that smokers should not intoxicate my air space!! full stop... I want to live a long life thankyou!

i think the smoking ban is ridiculous .. the givernment take enough fom smokers in taxes about 90#% of pack price .. sutely that must earn them some respect !

I don't drink alcohol, but I have to tolerate drunks when I go on a nite out, and I'm not happy about that. But I ain't calling for an alcohol ban. After all a slobbering drunk can be as irritating as a smoker can be to a non-smoker.

+ I guess if I want to kill myself through smoking, then fair enough, at least I'm paying enough money out for the privilage.

I know this is a huge political drama at the moment, but addressing your point:

If someone is drunk on a night out, this may annoy you, however doesn't directly affect your health, whereas second hand smoke is proven to.

The main reason for the huge tax on it, is for the amount the government have to pay out on the NHS for smoking related illnesses.
